A few words about Arsanas..
Arsanas beach is situated on the southeastern side of Thassos and just below the Monastery of Archangelos Michael.
It is 4km away from Aliki and surrounded by lush greenery.
The water’s temperature varies from cool to very cold due to the two springs that end up here. The coast is covered with pebbles, stones and sand.
The beach is accessible by sea or via a path from neighboring Livadi beach.
Tarsanas beach was named after the old shipyard (Greek: ταρσανάς or αρσανάς) of the Monastery of Archangelos Michael.
