A few words about Folklore Museum of Potamia..
On the east side of Thassos, 15 minutes away from Limenas is Skala Potamias. The folklore museum of Skala Potamias is housed in the building of “Tarsanas” (lifting ship point). The offices of the Educational Association of Potamia, who founded the museum, are in the same building. On the ground floor (100m2), traditional dance classes, exhibitions and various types of cultural events take place. On the second floor, there are exhibits and photos of the history of Potamia and Thassos, as well as some old objects of everyday use of past times.
