A few words about Folklore Museum of Limenaria..
In the museum of Limenaria is exhibited a collection of folk art. It was created in 1993 by members of the cultural association of Limenaria called ‘Kastro’ (Castle). It is housed in an old building of the community, in the village center. The purpose of the collection is the promotion of the local tradition. More specifically, household utensils, clothing and a loom are exhibited. In another section, one can observe tools of traditional professions and a traditional distillery of ‘tsipouro’ (traditional Greek spirits). Of particular interest are the tools used in the first period of operation of the local mines.
