A few words about Golden Sand..
Golden Coast beach is located in the east side of the island, 13km from Limenas. This is otherwise known as Skala Potamias beach or Hrisi Akti.
It has taken its name from the way the sunlight is reflected on the sand.
This is an organised, easily-accessible beach with shallow clear waters, ideal for kids and internationally awarded with the Blue Flag beach award.
Tavernas and beach bars along the beach frame the scenery.
